Colton Dixon finds stability in Christ in ‘Anchor’
“American Idol” star Colton Dixon offers listeners a personal look into his faith in Christ with his newly released second album, “Anchor.”
Inspiration for the album came after realizing how easy it is to get caught up the daily grind. He counted his time on stage as his “personal Jesus time.”
Dixon climbed the charts in Christian music since his career began in 2009 when he won over viewers on Season 11 of FOX’s “American Idol.” He released his album “A Messenger” in 2013, and set first-week sales records for a Christian artist.
Then, he said he wanted to take a step back to give himself a check.
